CENLA Daylily Society

We had a busy summer in central Louisiana preparing for the 1999 Fall Symposium, November 13, 1999.

day kaskell

Kay Day, David Burton and Matthew Kaskel

We were pleased to have as a speakers Pat and Grace Stamile and Matthew Kaskel and to welcome Kay Day, of Dallas, AHS President-elect.

Wonderful slide shows, question-answer sessions with each speaker gave us to know that we will hardly recognize some of the new daylilies ten years from now. It was a super day.

crochet salter

Region 13 AHS Board member Beth Crochet and Clarence Crochet visit with speakers Pat and Grace Stamile.

With breakfast and lunch included, everyone was able to visit with old friends, new friends plus our speakers. Great food and great fun! We had a very large plant sale and a great auction to round out the day. Our thanks to all who donated wonderful plants to the sale and auction.
